I would like to meet the phrase “strong female character” on a dark night in a cold alley, slice its skull open with a meat cleaver, smash it to pieces with an pulveriser, grind its loathsome, pungent entrails into the dirt with my heel, and dissolve the remnants in sulphuric acid, ultimately pouring the whole noxious confection down the drain (which is really too good a place for it), calling down the old gods to mark the spot with a binding sigil, and praying that in a thousand years nobody inadvertantly unseals the evil I have at last laid to rest here.
